What injuries can I claim compensation for?

You do not have to sustain a serious personal injury to be entitled to make a compensation claim. You are entitled, in law, to compensation for any personal injury arising out of a non-fault accident which you sustain. This can include cuts, bruises and soft tissue injuries such as whiplash.

When your personal injury was shown not to be your fault you are entitled to recover any loss which you incur as a result of an accident including expenses and loss of earnings.

Should I have reported my personal injuries to my GP or hospital?

It can be beneficial to have a written record of the injuries either at your GP or hospital but this is not essential. If you have not been to visit your GP or hospital it should not prevent us from presenting a compensation claim on your behalf.
